This is a beautiful, yummy shake that is just sweet enough, full of antioxidant-omega goodness! I'll share my "sweetness" secret at the bottom of the recipe.*
Put the following in the carafe of the blender:
- 2 C. Juicerless Almond Nut Mylk
- 1 C. Frozen Blueberries
- 1 Banana, chunked up
- 2 T. Coconut Shreds (unsweetened)
- 1 T. Vanilla-Stevia Mix* (or other natural sweetener)
*
Vanilla-Stevia Mix: In a clean empty glass bottle mix 150ml (6T) of Organic Vanilla with 10 ml (2 tsp.) of powdered
Natural Stevia. Dina of Chunkiedunkies.com explains that mixing the Vanilla and Stevia in these proportions allows the sometimes strong after-taste of the Stevia to be mellowed out by the Vanilla.
With a Nut Mylk Bag and a blender you are set to make fresh, vibrant, vitamin- and mineral-filled fruit and vegetable juices, nut mylks, jellies, and more!
Fresh, healthful vitamin-packed Juices are a fantastic addition to any detox or health improvement diet. You don't need a fancy juicer... a Blender and a Nut Mylk Bag will do the trick!
I absolutely love my nut milk bag that I purchased from you! Well constructed nut milk bag. I made my almond milk and was able to fit the bag around the top of my Vita Mixer - made my life so much easier! I was able to get so much nut milk out of the nut pulp that the nut pulp was crumbly - so now I can freeze it to use it later in my baking.
ReplyDeleteNever thought about making sprouts and tofu with this bag - till I read it on your site - may just have to give that a try too!
Thanks for making such a great nut milk bag!
oh, thank YOU for the rave review! It's great to hear that you have found the Juicerless nut mylk bag as useful as you have. Interesting to read that you freeze your nut mylk pulp-- hadn't thought of that, sounds good!
